Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman instructed the leadership of Naftogaz of Ukraine to submit shortly a plan for the installation of gas meters for households that do not have accounting meters yet. The Head of Government said this during a teleconference call dedicated to tariffs on energy resources.
The Prime Minister stressed that at present there is need for installation of nearly 3 million meters. This is a large number. But the very fact of the existence of uncultivated resource is a great field for shadow schemes.
"The government decision was to provide 100% of Ukraine's households with gas meters. This is a priority task. I commission to provide a clear plan and instruct the First Deputy Prime Minister to work out the financial plan of NJSC Naftogaz and to envisage funding for installing meters as capital costs. If it's necessary we are ready to approve additional government decision", Volodymyr Groysman underscored.
