Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman instructed the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (NEURC), the Antimonopoly Committee, the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection to carry out thorough inspections of energy supplying organizations, impose appropriate fines and protect consumers from unreasonable payment requirements.

The PM announced on the outcomes of the conference call on tariff formation in the regions.

According to Volodymyr Groysman, representatives of local authorities should actively participate in this work.

"The current situation in the regions is outlawry demonstrated by various providers. I demand to put things in order and protect citizens. This is an explicit requirement", the Head of Government said.
