  • Prime Minister: We do not have any unresolved issues with IT sector, in synergy we are working on development and growth

    The Government and representatives of the IT sector agreed to set up a special working group for development and implementation of necessary regulatory initiatives that will facilitate  development of the IT sphere. The agreements were reached within the framework of the meeting of Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman with representatives of the IT sphere. President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko took part in a meeting.

    "We have no contradictions. No decision is taken without discussion and consultation. Our task is to ensure growth", Volodymyr Groysman said.

    He recalled that the Government has already put in practice several tools aimed at providing assistance to the IT sector, including the Startup Support Fund, the assistance program for young scientists, etc. "We have abolished hundreds of unnecessary regulations that were adopted at the time when someone wrote word "computer " with errors", the Prime Minister stressed.

    The Head of Government emphasized that the Cabinet of Ministers is ready for broad cooperation and the first initiatives of the new working group can be already discussed at one of the nearest government meetings.
