                                      Fellow veterans!

On behalf of the Government, I want to appeal to You on the occasion of the Day of Commemoration of Combatants in the Territories of Other States and 30th Anniversary of the withdrawal of the Soviet troops from Afghanistan!

The experience of combatants in the territory of other states today, as never before, is incredibly important for the training of personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, patriotic education of future defenders of the Motherland. The war had taught you to be thankful for every day spent, to love your relatives, to be responsible for the future of the country, for the destiny of succeeding generations.

Servicemen, who had fulfilled their duty in the territory of other states, are respected in Ukrainian society. Veterans of the war in Afghanistan are people for whom the words "honor" and "dignity" are not empty sounds; for us, You are examples of courage, heroism, and mutual help, loyalty to the oath and sense of duty.

The sense of justice prevents you from standing on the sidelines of burning problems of the society. You are still in arms, defend the independence of our state, and engage in volunteering.

The Ukrainian people will always remember those who had died in the war in Afghanistan and those who had gone through the hell of war conflicts.

On behalf of the Government and me personally, I want to wish all combatants in the territories of other states sound health, many years to live, prosperity, family comfort and peaceful sky!

    Sincerely

Prime Minister of Ukraine                      Volodymyr GROYSMAN
