Independent Ukraine and the State of Israel have established truly friendly and mutually beneficial relations. Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Andrii Reva and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Ukraine Joel Lyon emphasized during a meeting.

Among the topics for the discussion were the Pension Agreement between our countries, the continuation of the implementation of an employment agreement between the State of Israel and Ukraine.

As for the Agreement, according to the Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine, it will be finally approved after it is ratified by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. And, perhaps, the Pension Agreement will be included in the framework of the pension reform that is being implemented in Ukraine.

Andrii Reva invited Joel Lyon to get familiarized with the progress of implementation of the employment agreement and personally visit the Regional Employment Centers together, as they are directly involved in the implementation of the project on the employment of our citizens in Israel.

The parties agreed to carry out this trip in the spring.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel Joel Lyon thanked Minister Andrii Reva for raising important issues and their detailed analysis.
