The infrastructure of Ukraine has great prospects for development, and the experience gained in the process of implementing infrastructure projects allows the country to quickly and effectively multiply the existing potential. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said on air of the Priamy (Direct) TV channel. One of the topics of the program was the Government's report for 2018 and, in particular, the outcomes of the work of the transport industry.

"I see great prospects. And we can be much faster (in the implementation of projects). Understanding of the priorities gives us the opportunity to solve a number of problems", said Volodymyr Groysman.

Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelian became the participant of the program. He told that in 2014 in Ukraine, less than 100 km of roads were repaired, and in 2018 - already 3800 km. At that, the cost of construction is twice less than that built 15 years ago.

In turn, the Head of Government reminded that this year there had been allotted for road network reconstruction projects a record sum worth UAH 55 billion, of which over UAH 15 billion will be transferred to local roads.

"In this case, we do not run back and forth with road projects. We have a clear plan, which road we are constructing now, which road - the next year. In 5 years, we will create a network of high-quality roads connecting all regional centers", said Volodymyr Groysman. "We engage in development of ground, air transportation. There are plans for river transport".
