Systemic transformations being currently implemented by the Government will have accumulative effect and these changes will ultimately change the situation in Ukraine. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman on the air of the Priamy (Direct) TV channel. The program is devoted to the Government's report for 2018, and members of the Cabinet of Ministers also participated in the program.
The Prime Minister stressed that systemic changes being carried out will accumulate and this will change the situation in the country. The Head of Government mentioned introduction of a number of legal innovations - primarily in the context of providing free legal aid, introduction of electronic child registration services, and protection of the rights of children in the framework of the #No child left behind initiative.
"For example, we are implementing the Municipal Nanny program. It's assistance to mothers who want to get back to work. And now you can legally hire a babysitter. This means that there is a contract, thus there is a responsibility. Or baby packages. In 2018 more than 100 thousand mothers received these packages. Last year more than 800 apartments were purchased for orphan children who completed residential institutions", the Head of Government emphasized.
The Minister of Justice Pavlo Petrenko also took part in the program. He emphasized that #No child left behind initiative was differently perceived. "But these are concrete children’s destinies," the Minister said, reminding that last year due to the Government's decisions spousal support arrears were paid to more than 500 thousand children.
