According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of October 7, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 239,337 COVID-19 cases, 105,970 people recovered, 4,597 patients died. During the 24 hours, 4,753 new cases have been officially confirmed.

A total of 2,455,407 samples in Ukraine were tested using PCR method. During the 24 hours, 2,569 patients have recovered.

As of October 7, coronavirus disease was registered:

Dnipropetrovsk region – 7, 688 cases;

Donetsk region – 4,824 cases;

Zhytomyr region – 7,221 cases;

Zakarpattia region – 10,373 cases;

Zaporizhia region – 4,862 cases;

Ivano-Frankivsk region – 14, 562 cases;

Kirovohrad region – 1,215 cases;

Kyiv – 25,474 cases;

Kyiv region – 10,291 cases;

Lviv region – 21,696 cases;

Luhansk region – 1,394 cases;

Mykolaiv region – 4,025 cases;

Odesa region – 15,337 cases;

Poltava region – 3,497 cases;

Rivne region – 13,532 cases;

Sumy region – 5,885;

Ternopil region – 14,737;

Kharkiv region – 22,136;

Kherson region – 1,591;

Khmelnytsky region – 7,473;

Chernivtsi region – 15,589;

Cherkasy region – 4,917;

Chernihiv region – 4,907.

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available. The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
