Military levy brings UAH 17.9 billion to State Budget special fund in October 2026
According to operational data from the State Treasury Service of Ukraine, UAH 17.9 billion in military levy revenues was received by the special fund of the State Budget in October 2026.
In total, UAH 68.9 billion in military levy was paid into the special fund of the State Budget in July-October 2026.
The new procedure for crediting funds to the special fund has been in effect since July 1, 2026. Under amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2026,” revenues from the military levy are directed exclusively to the pay and allowances of servicemembers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Introduced in 2014, the military levy remains an important tool for mobilizing the state’s domestic resources during the full-scale war. At the same time, the needs of the security and defense sector are also financed from other state budget revenues, including corporate income tax, VAT, personal income tax, excise tax, rent payments, dividends from state-owned enterprises, other taxes and fees, as well as proceeds from domestic government borrowing (domestic government bonds).
As a reminder, during the first half of 2026, nearly UAH 94.24 billion in military levy revenues was received in the general fund of the State Budget.
