Update on the spread and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of January 25, 2022, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 24 321 (2,809 children out of this number, 642 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 30 003 374 vaccines have been made.

Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 15 221 308 people have been vaccinated. On January 25, 2022, 81 736 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 12 242 – CoronaVac vaccine, 60 608 – Comirnaty vaccine, 1 515 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 7 371.

Vaccination was carried out by 985 mobile immunization teams, 3,227 vaccination points and 435 vaccination centers.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 3 073 persons, 141 patients died, 5 514 persons recovered. There have been conducted 157 918 testings (79 688 using the PCR method, 7 347 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 70,883).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

• 3 913 809 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;

• 3 596 715 people recovered;

• 99 584 people died;

• 17 661 202 testings have been conducted.

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available.
