Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, posted 25 January 2022 13:43

The Ukrainian power system has sufficient power reserve for stable operation. This was emphasized by Minister of Energy German Galushchenko during a briefing on the passage of the current heating season.

According to the Minister, the nuclear generation will start operating in all 15 power units at the end of this week.

Today, two power units were put into short-term repairs - №1 at KhNPP and №4 at ZNPP. For the period of repairs, the balancing of the power system is due to heat and hydro generation.

Accumulation of coal continues in the storage facilties of thermal power plants and combined heat and power plants, including due to imported supplies by sea.
