The opportunities offered by decentralization and  allocation of significant financial resources enabled local authorities to pay considerable attention to the development of preschool and school education, to restore and to build educational infrastructure, and to significantly reduce queues to kindergartens. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said this, speaking to the participants of the General Assembly of the Association of Consolidated Communities.

"Three years ago about 96 thousand children waited in line for kindergartens. In three years we have reduced this queue to 33 thousand. Last year we allocated resources to the tune of UAH 37 billion to the development of regions. This year we will direct a sum worth UAH 50 billion, including funds for the New Ukrainian School", the Prime Minister said.

The Head of Government stressed that management system is being retrofited. Representatives of the communities have become more experienced in recent years. "You demonstare striking results. You started to look deeply into the kernel of the problems. You are new leaders. You joined a new system, received new knowledge, new qualities and got the result", the Prime Minister underscored.
