Prime Minister paid tribute to the victims of Babyn Yar tragedy

Prime Minister of
Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman participated in the mourning
ceremony to commemorate the victims of the Babyn Yar mass murders that had taken place in September 1941.
Together with the leadership of the state, he put flowers to the Babyn Yar memorial in the
Memorial Park in Kyiv.
"Today we
commemorate the victims of one of the most hideous tragedies in the history of
mankind – the Babyn Yar
massacre. The day of mourning and sorrow. Our duty is
to preserve the memory of Babyn Yar
and pass it on to the future generations. Only memory can protect against repetition
of failures of the past", the Head of Government wrote in Facebook.
