The minutes of the meeting of the Ukrainian-Polish Joint Commission on International Road Transport, which took place on November 18-20 in a video conference format in Kyiv and Warsaw, have been published on the website of the Ministry of Infrastructure.
The meeting was held at the level of Deputy Ministers of Infrastructure of Ukraine and the Republic of Poland. The Ukrainian delegation was headed by Deputy Minister for European Integration Natalia Forsyuk.
The parties discussed the issue of providing permits for carriers of both countries in 2021. After lengthy talks, the Ukrainian side managed to preserve the previous exchange of permits for 2021 in the amount of 160,000 permits and prevent the tendency towards reducing their number.
In addition, the parties agreed that Ukraine receives 5,000 additional permits this year: 1,500 universal E-5 permits and 3,500 transit Euro-4 permits.
