A leading telecommunications company in Japan, NTT Group, has allocated USD 1 million to support digital educational environment for children, in particular those who are unable to study in a traditional format.
This was announced by Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhii Shkarlet.
The funds will be distributed through the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), and will be used to provide educators and students with digital devices.
In addition, NTT Group provides free international calls to Ukraine, and donated a total of USD 2.5 million to support our country. It also accepted donations from customers to help Ukraine.
To remind, more than 46,000 laptops have been transferred to the regions with the support of Google and UNESCO.
