The National Bank of Ukraine and systemically important banks of the country have created a joint banking network called POWER BANKING, uniting emergency branches throughout Ukraine that can operate and provide services during power outages.
Branches are equipped with alternative energy sources and backup communication channels, have enhanced cash collection and additional staff.
During blackouts, in such branches customers will be able to withdraw cash (at ATMs or at the cash desk), make payments or transfer funds (at the cash desk or in self-service terminals), exchange currency (if there is cash in the cash desk), get advice from bank employees.
Currently, the network includes more than 1,000 branches and unites all 14 systemically important banks whose branches form the basis of the network.
The branches are located in Kyiv and 275 settlements in 22 regions of the country, including de-occupied areas of Kherson, Kharkiv and Mykolaiv regions.
An all-Ukrainian interactive map of such emergency branches has been developed. It is available here or here.
A user can easily find the nearest branch in their city, its address and contact details. Or download the list to their phone or computer.
The list of emergency bank branches included in the interactive map is constantly updated by the State Regulator.
