  • eRobota: 626 winners of the 12th wave of the Own Business program will receive grants worth more than UAH 148 million

    New winners of the Own Business program have been determined: within the twelfth wave of this initiative, 626 entrepreneurs will receive micro-grants totaling UAH 148.3 million, and 1,419 new jobs will be created. This was reported by First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko.

    “Under the Own Business grant program entrepreneurs can receive micro-grants in the amount of up to UAH 250,000 to start or expand their own business. The main condition for receiving assistance from the state is the creation of new jobs. Thus, we simultaneously support business and fight unemployment. Currently, within the framework of the 12th wave of this program, Ukrainians will get almost 1,500 new jobs,” said Yuliia Svyrydenko.

    Among the winners of the twelfth wave of the program, most are entrepreneurs in the following fields:

    • 192 – wholesale and retail trade,
    • 103 – processing industry,
    • 79 – temporary accommodation and organization.

    Implementation of grantees’ business plans will create 1,419 jobs.

    The largest number of winners of the 12th wave are from Lviv (113 people) and Rivne (68 people) regions, as well as from the city of Kyiv (61 people).

    In total, since the start of the Own Business program, grants worth about UAH 776.8 million have been approved for 3,321 entrepreneurs. According to preliminary estimates, 8,313 new jobs will be created.

    The eRobota project includes grant programs aimed at stimulating entrepreneurship. In particular, these are micro-grant programs for opening or developing one’s own business, grants for the establishment and development of processing enterprises, arranging a garden and viticulture, greenhouse farming.

    Currently, applications for all components of the eRobota program are accepted. Applications can be submitted through the Diia Portal.
