  • Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services shaped typical design of rural schools and kindergartens to create high-quality infrastructure in the regions

Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine has developed several options for typical planning decisions of modern schools and kindergartens in rural areas. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Lev Partskhaladze at the August conference of the Ministry of Education and Science  of Ukraine "New Ukrainian School - Challenges and Prospects for Education Reform".

"During the implementation of the New Educational Space, we have repeatedly encountered various problems during the reconstruction or construction of kindergartens and local schools. Therefore, the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services has developed 7 variants of typical planning decisions of modern rural schools and kindergartens based on the principles of the New Educational Space and the state construction norms. This is a separate guide with information on the design of such establishments, a description of the spatial planning decisions and the corresponding layout plans. In fact, this is a technical task for design. That is, in this way it is possible to shorten the design time and improve the quality of design solutions", Lev Partskhaladze stressed.
