"New premises, new equipment, increased salary of a family doctor,  company-provided car, possibility of professional consultation with the secondary healthcare facilities is exactly type of medical service to be provided in every village. And this became possible due to the initiative of the President of Ukraine on the development of primary health care in the countryside", Hennadii Zubko emphasized.

The Deputy Prime Minister said that from now the family doctor is able to take advantage of telemedicine services, to receive consultation from colleagues, and to write an "electronic recipe" without sending a patient to a regional hospital.

"This set of instruments will enable the rural population to receive basic medical services near their home. The President and the Prime Minister set us these tasks today. And now, when we kicked off the first stage of the reform, namely reform of primary healthcare, people are receiving a  new quality of services", Hennadii Zubko stressed.

The Deputy Prime Minister is assured that today's event is not just a solemn opening of a rural hospital but  a change in the quality of life of citizens. "The reform seeks not only to increase the salary of a doctor and to build the outpatient clinic, but also to provide our citizens with a new efficient access to secondary and tertiary health care. And I congratulate you on this, and I also want to place a special emphasis on the fact that our country is constantly changing!", Hennadii Zubko underlined.

It should be noted that at present projects on creation of 517 new outpatient clinics with telemedicine opportunities are being implemented.
