Hennadii Zubko: Ukrainian Government to send another humanitarian cargo to the East of Ukraine

Another humanitarian aid with 330 tons of goods, including food and essential commodities, will be sent by the Ukrainian authorities to the East of Ukraine. On January 22 it is planned to send 24 trucks with the assistance: from Pavlograd in Kramatorsk (6 trucks), from Kharkiv to Kramatorsk (8 trucks) and from Kharkiv to Severodonetsk (9 trucks). The cargo will be delivered to social institutions and residents of the territories, which are now affected by shelling, and the areas controlled by the militants. This was announced by Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Hennadii Zubko.

"This humanitarian aid, like in December, has been gathered by all regions of Ukraine. It is important for us to deliver this assistance to the areas which today through the attacks by the militants experience problems with supply of products. Also our care is much needed for the social institutions and the residents of the territories controlled by the terrorists," explained Hennadii Zubko.

According to him, the coordination of activities to form the cargo is carried out by the president’s commissioner for the peaceful settlement of the conflict in Donetsk and Luhansk regions Iryna Herashchenko. SES Chairman Serhii Bochkovsky coordinates the work concerning the delivery of cargo to its destination.

Hennadii Zubko informed that on the morning of January 22 he would personally inspect in Kharkiv together with the SES Chairman the shipment process. Also, according to him, the same day he together with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany Christof Weil will participate in the opening of a transit township for internally displaced persons.
