First payments of UAH 19,400 under the Winter Support program financed

Over UAH 27.6 million has already been allocated to 1,424 households under the Winter Support. These are families living in frontline areas (0–20 km from the front line) that fall under the first List.

In total, more than UAH 7.4 billion has been earmarked for the UAH 19,400 payment. These funds come from international and national humanitarian organizations. Part of the funding is channeled through the Humanitarian Account of the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine, opened at the National Bank of Ukraine. The remainder is provided by international partners.

UNICEF, the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, UNHCR, and other humanitarian organizations have joined the program.

As a reminder, families in 11 vulnerable categories will be eligible for the one-time UAH 19,400 payment. The payment is made to one such household.

Applications can be submitted until October 30, 2026, through Pension Fund of Ukraine service centers, Centers of Administrative Services Provision (CASPs), or local self-government bodies. The method of application depends on which List your community is included in.

Territories are divided into two lists, depending on their distance from the front line and the corresponding funding mechanism. The funds may be used without restrictions: each family decides for itself what needs to spend them on.
