Hennadii Zubko: Mission accomplished - humanitarian assistance delivered to social institutions in militant-held areas

The Government has completed the task set by the President of Ukraine to provide a targeted delivery of food and the necessities to the social institutions and residents of the areas controlled by the militants. This was announced by Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Hennadii Zubko.

"It was important for us to ensure the assistance, we've collected from all over Ukraine, could reach the social institutions of the settlements, being under the control of the terrorists. Today we have managed to deliver such aid to the institutions in Krasnyi Luch and Alchevsk, Luhansk region. The food has been already delivered to the enabled children in Petrovsky regional training and rehabilitation centre, regional centre of Krasnyi Luch, which serves people with disabilities, war veterans, and the elderly. We have managed to reach two TB dispensaries - Krasnyi Luch and Alchevsk, as also two family homes," informed Hennadii Zubko.

Moreover, he said that a 60-ton humanitarian cargo had been delivered to the villages Olkhovatka, Kamyshevakha, Bulavynka, towns of Uglegorsk and Debaltsevo.

"Until the end of the day, in Kramatorsk another 10 tons of humanitarian cargo will be loaded to distribute it among the population", said the Vice Prime Minister.

As was reported, December 25, on commission of the President of Ukraine to the East of Ukraine there had been delivered 326 tons of humanitarian aid for the social institutions and the civilian population on the territories controlled by the militant forces.
