Government appointed Olena Shuliak as Representative in Parliament
Today, November 15, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appointed MP Olena Shuliak as a Government Representative in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
“The cooperation between the Parliament and the Government is a critically important tool for effective and qualitative changes in the country. Our task is to explain the importance and the positive results of the changes we propose so that lawmakers having the necessary information could communicate it to their voters and support the Government’s initiatives during voting at plenary sessions. Olena Shuliak has already demonstrated tangible results in this direction while working in the Parliament. I am convinced that our cooperation will be very effective and will yield concrete results,” Oleksiy Honcharuk assured.
Olena Shuliak is the Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on State Building, Local Governance, Regional and Urban Development. Prior to that, she held positions of the Head of the sector “Construction” and Member of the Board of the Better Regulation Delivery Office, Director General of Midland Development Ukraine and other positions in business sector.
Apart from that, Olena Shuliak served as Vice President of the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs and Vice President of the Young Presidents’ Organization.
