Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko chaired the second meeting of the Coordination Center for the Implementation of Resilience Plans in Chernihiv. During the meeting, participants reviewed the status of resilience plan implementation in two frontline regions—Chernihiv and Sumy.

“We have identified the priority funding needs for the protection of critical infrastructure facilities in nine regions and Kyiv region. In total, 210 critical infrastructure facilities have been determined, and work on them will begin in the coming days,” the Head of Government noted on the outcomes of the meeting.

According to Yulia Svyrydenko, an allocation of UAH 11.2 billion from the State Budget’s reserve fund is being prepared for these tasks at the upcoming Government meeting. This will allow construction of new protective structures to begin as soon as possible.

We have coordinated priorities with international partners to secure additional funding for implementing resilience plans and strengthening the protection of energy infrastructure.

“We are finalizing deregulation measures and additional business support. We are developing an affordable lending program for businesses to achieve energy independence with a fixed interest rate of 7% per annum for the entire term of the agreement. As part of the ‘5-7-9%’ program for frontline regions, we are extending loan terms until the end of 2027,” emphasized Yulia Svyrydenko.

Separately, steps were discussed regarding the implementation of Kyiv’s resilience plan, submitted by the city authorities.
