Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko has congratulated workers on Utility Workers’ Day, highlighting the vital role that communal services staff play in the life of communities.

“Our utility workers repair networks, restore water and heating to homes, deal with the aftermath of russian strikes around the clock, and do everything they can to ensure life in our communities continues,” the Head of Government noted.

The Prime Minister stressed that this winter has been particularly challenging, and it is during such periods that the crucial work of housing and utility services employees becomes especially clear.

“Utility workers carry on without pause so that people continue to receive essential services and our cities can keep functioning. Thank you to every single one of you for your selfless dedication, your unique experience and expertise in sustaining the vital functions of our towns and communities. Happy Utility Workers’ Day,” Yulia Svyrydenko said.
