Protection of power infrastructure, support for entrepreneurs, and educators — key topics of the Prime Minister’s working visit to Chernihiv region

Over the past two months, Government officials led by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko have conducted working visits to all frontline regions. The final stop of this activity was the Chernihiv region. Discussions with regional leadership were focused on key priorities: preparing for the autumn-winter period, supporting entrepreneurship, and advancing the education sector.

The Head of Government told, meetings of the Headquarters for Preparing for the Heating Season were held in all frontline areas. Heads of regional military administrations provided updates on winter preparedness and the needs for protecting energy infrastructure.

“Winter resilience is one of the Government’s priorities, especially for frontline territories. Just yesterday, the enemy attacked energy facilities in the Chernihiv region. But they will not succeed in depriving us of heat and light. We are working on crisis response plans,” emphasized Yulia Svyrydenko.

The Prime Minister also met with entrepreneurs from the region and discussed support for Ukrainian producers as well as opportunities for its expansion.

“Businesses in frontline regions face unique challenges. We are adapting the Made in Ukraine programs to meet the needs of these territories,” she noted.

Additionally, Yulia Svyrydenko had the opportunity to engage with educators in the Chernihiv region and thank them for their work.

“The fact that you stay with the children during wartime, teaching and guiding them, deserves great respect. We are working to create decent conditions for your work and to ensure quality education in schools and vocational institutions,” stressed the Head of Government.
