Update on the spread and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of November 1, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 19,455 (1,263 children out of this number, 339 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 17,968, 898 vaccines have been made.

The number of vaccinated persons from COVID-19 from the beginning of the campaign makes up 10,453,652. On October 31, 2021, 273,307 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 120,892- CoronaVac vaccine, 130,892– Comirnaty vaccine, 21,523 – AstraZeneka, Janssen – 0, Moderna – 0.

Vaccination was carried out by 1,046 mobile immunization teams, 3,119 vaccination points and 411 vaccination centers.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 3,188 persons, 700 patients died, 12,639 persons recovered. There have been conducted 133,592 testings (56,930 using the PCR method,
19,553 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 57,109).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 2,955,693 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 2,454,737 people recovered;
  • 68,727 people died;
  • 14,512,577 testings have been conducted.
