Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solskyi held an online meeting with Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty of France Marc Fesneau.
The parties discussed cooperation in the agricultural sector between Ukraine and France. They also addressed the transit of Ukrainian agricultural products through Europe and the continuation of the Black Sea Grain Corridor.
Mykola Solskyi noted that Ukraine greatly appreciated and felt the support of the French people and Government every day. According to him, Ukraine and France can fruitfully cooperate in three areas: winemaking, land reclamation and irrigation. According to the Minister, irrigation of agricultural land is especially important for Ukraine after the explosion of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant dam.
Mykola Solskyi invited Marc Fesneau to visit Ukraine.
For his part, Marc Fesneau thanked for the invitation and expressed his full solidarity and support for Ukraine.
