Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports of Ukraine Volodymyr Borodianskyy welcomed the participants of the program. In his speech, the Minister stressed that in 2020, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports will be the first to implement a youth mobility program as well as will place a strong emphasis on tourism development.

First Deputy Minister Anatolii Maksymchuk briefed the attendees on how the development of Ukrainian cinema will attract foreign producers, which will have a synergistic effect on the development of regional cultural centers.

The Small Cities - Big Impressions program was kicked off on April 15, 2019. The main goal is to support cities with a total population of up to 50 thousand people. Local self-government bodies, legal entities of all forms of ownership, creative unions, individuals-entrepreneurs can submit their applications, in particular cultural projects  for competition.
