Today, April 5, at a session of the Government, the issue of using the funds provided in the state budget for the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine to ensure the functioning of the Innovation Development Fund was considered.

The implementation of the adopted resolution will allow attracting additional sources of funding to meet the urgent needs of the state, which were due to the military aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine.

The Innovation Development Fund has in its accounts the resource that can be raised to finance the State Budget of Ukraine by purchasing by the Fund of domestic government bonds of Ukraine, in particular, domestic government bonds "Military Bonds". The resolution adopted at the Government meeting will supplement the Procedure for the use of the Innovation Development Fund, which will allow using the Fund for the relevant needs of the state.

After making appropriate changes to the Statute, the Innovation Development Fund, in agreement with the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, will be eligible to buy domestic government bonds for UAH 175 million. These funds will be used to finance the State Budget and will be applied further for the needs of the security and defense sector of Ukraine.
