Hennadii Zubko urged the Parliament to consider 26 important bills this week

The Government appeals to the Parliament with a request to consider this week 26 bills of the anti-corruption package, regarding liberalization of the visa regime, the reform of tax administration, retrofitting of the gas market and the law enforcement system. Moreover, the plenary day of 12 November 2015 should be the day for consideration and adoption of draft laws aimed at deregulation of business and support of the economic block. This was stated by Vice Prime Minister/Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Hennadii Zubko at the meeting of the conciliation council on Monday, 9 November.

The agenda for Tuesday includes seven bills from the anti-corruption package regarding the liberalization of the visa regime. "I ask MPs to support this package, which will allow the public service and the fight against corruption to be more efficient and transparent," he stressed.

Hennadii Zubko addressed the members of Parliament with a request to consider the bills on the gas market and on amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine to improve conditions of functioning of the natural gas market. "The law on the gas market provides an opportunity to clearly determine what is a commodity, to remove monopolies and to define general lines of functioning of this market", stressed the official.

He asked the deputies to consider this week the draft laws agreed with the IMF pertaining to the administration of revenues of the budget. "In Ukraine, entrepreneurs and employers are worried about not only the size of taxes but the procedure for their administration, which should be simple, transparent and should work according to the principle of bilateral responsibility of the business and the state," he said.

Hennadii Zubko stressed that 159 unified territorial communities as a result of the local ballot on October 25 had got new local government and elected their chairs. "They want to transfer to the new budgetary relations from 1 January 2016 and move towards increasing their powers and are willing to take responsibility, so I hope that the next plenary week, we will consider a package of laws on decentralization", he said.

Apart from that, the official urged parliamentarians to support legislation needed to complete the process of reforming the law enforcement system. The bills on amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine concerning activities of the National Police, as well as on amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine in connection with adoption of Law of Ukraine "On the National Police".
