Sergii Koretskyi: Government and Parliament will jointly work to ensure financial stability and meet the needs of the Defense Forces

Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi, together with Minister of Finance Sergii Marchenko and Minister of Economy and Environment Oleksandr Kravchenko, held a meeting with the leadership of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and leaders of all parliamentary factions and groups. The participants discussed budgetary challenges for 2026–2027 and the fulfillment of the state’s financial obligations.

The main priority remains securing funding for the needs of Ukraine’s Defense Forces and the timely execution of all critically important expenditures.

Special attention during the meeting was given to joint work on government draft laws, the adoption of which is essential for attracting external financing at a level sufficient to cover existing needs.

"This is about the country’s defense capability, financial stability, and uninterrupted provision of critically important social expenditures," emphasized Sergii Koretskyi.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to work together on fulfilling commitments necessary to attract international financing and to search for acceptable solutions.

"For my part, I guarantee full personal involvement as well as participation of all responsible ministers," noted the Head of Government.

Sergii Koretskyi thanked Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk for supporting the initiative and organizing the meeting, as well as all Members of Parliament for constructive and fruitful dialogue.
