Selection of investment programs and regional development projects, financed from the state fund, is as transparent as possible

The Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities has presented online platform of the State Regional Development Fund dfrr.minregion.gov.ua.

Henceforth, the selection of investment programs and regional development projects, co-financed from the State Fund for Regional Development, will be as transparent as possible.

This was stated by Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Utilities of Ukraine Viacheslav Nehoda during a meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on conformity assessment of investment programs and regional development projects that can be implemented by the State Regional Development Fund.

"For the first time the selection of investment programs and projects for regional development is based on open competition. All projects aspirants should be placed on the presented online platform. Now everyone has access to general information on these projects, and experts who will conduct the assessment and selection - all necessary documents for them," the Deputy Minister explained.

Viacheslav Nehoda has also recalled that the assessment and preliminary selection of programs and regional development projects is carried out by regional commissions, established by local state administrations. Their meetings will be broadcasted online. An Interagency Commission will assess whether the selected projects meet legislation.

Online SRDP platform was created with the support of the EU Support to Ukraine's Regional Development Policy project.
