Ukraine's Infrastructure Minister Andriy Pyvovarskyi met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Ukraine Zhang Xiyun

There has been a meeting between Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Andriy Pyvovarskyi and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China Zhang Xiyun on June 16.

During the meeting the Minister informed the Ambassador about the state of the Ukraine’s transport system reform and dramatic changes initiated by the Ministry in the areas of road management, motor, rail and water transport. In addition, the sides focused on discussing bilateral projects that could be attractive for representatives of Chinese business circles.

So, Andriy Pyvovarskyi paid special attention to the Air Express national project on creating a high-speed passenger rail service between Kyiv and Boryspil International Airport, which was funded by the Chinese side.

The sides agreed to continue cooperation, including within a planned for July meeting of Ukraine-China intergovernmental commission. Zhang Xiyun noted positive trends in the Ministry of Infrastructure’s work, as well as an increase in activity of the Ukrainian side in relations with China.
