Meeting with MPs of the Alliance of European Conservatives and Reformists

On September 22, First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Natalia Galibarenko met with MPs of the Alliance of European Conservatives and Reformists (AECR) at the MFA of Ukraine.

The parties welcomed the simultaneous ratification of the Association Agreement with the EU in Ukraine Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the European Parliament, stressing that it is an important political message concerning the support of Ukraine's course towards European integration.

Taking into account the political situation in our country, the parties have discussed, among other things, ways to normalize the situation in the East of Ukraine, including assistance from the EU so as to stabilize the economic development and recovery of Ukraine.

Moreover, the parties have considered issues related to preparations for pre-term elections in Ukraine scheduled for 26 October, as well as international monitoring of the conduct of elections, in particular by the European Parliament.
