The grant policy of the Energy Efficiency Fund has been approved. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister/ Minister for Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Hennadii Zubko on the results of the meeting of the Coordinating Council of Donors of the Energy Efficiency Fund and the Multi-Donor Trust Fund that was specially created by the EU and German Government to support the energy efficiency reform in Ukraine.
The meeting took place with the participation of representatives of the European Union, the German Government, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the World Bank, GIZ and UNDP projects in Ukraine, and the Supervisory Board of the Energy Efficiency Fund.
"Approval of the grant policy is one of the key issues in the work of the Energy Efficiency Fund. Together with all our international partners, it was determined that the size of the grant for the first 300 projects would be as follows: for package A ("light") - 40%, for package B ("complex") - 50%. And an additional + 20% for condominiums, in which more than 50% subsidy holders live. The funding will be transferred on the condominiums accounts, those implementing the energy efficiency measures, according to the Fund's programs and the grant agreement, at a rate 50/50 from the Energy Efficiency Fund and the Multi-Donor Trust Fund", said Hennadii Zubko.
The grant will cover energy audit expenditures, project documentation, materials, equipment and cost of work in percentages in line with the grant policy.
