Today in Bucha, Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, together with the President of Ukraine, the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, and representatives of foreign delegations, paid tribute to all the people whom the russians had killed and tortured during the occupation of the Kyiv region.

“Thank you to all our partners who are here with us today, in this place of our shared pain,” the Head of Government emphasized.

According to her, on that day four years ago, when the Ukrainian Defense Forces had liberated Bucha from russian occupiers, the world witnessed a crime the scale and brutality of which were impossible to imagine in the 21st century. 33 days of darkness under occupation. 561 people whom the russians killed with particular cruelty.

“For Ukrainians, the Bucha tragedy is a wound in our memory. The Bucha tragedy proved to the world that Russians have no limits. They won’t stop unless the entire free world stops them. Eternal memory to all whose lives were taken by russia,” emphasized Yulia Svyrydenko.
