From March 11, 2019, Open Government Week (OGW) begins in Ukraine. It is carried out as part of the international Open Government Partnership Initiative.
The OGW was opened by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, who on his Facebook page wrote that the Government has been introducing mechanisms for transparency and efficiency of the work of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. "We are in active dialogue with business, experts, civil society and international partners", Volodymyr Groysman stressed.
Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Olexandr Saienko and State Secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers Volodymyr Bondarenko spoke in a video prepared on the occasion of OGW about a number of incentives in the field of open and transparent governance (e-services, open data available state registers, youth internships in executive bodies, etc.).
During OGW public events (roundtables, webinars, conferences, training, etc.)., aimed at establishing cooperation between the executive authorities and the public and pursuant to the implementation of the Open Government Partnership Initiative will be held in Kyiv and regions.
Information and Communication Department of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers in partnership with the ISAR "Unity" is organizing online seminar " Open Government Week began: discover and engage" that will be one of the first events within the Open Government Partnership Initiative.
