    All the military, police officers and rescuers during martial law will be able to be treated free of charge in medical institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Defense. The relevant decision was made yesterday, April 19, during a session of the Government.

    Amendments to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine stipulate that during the martial law in Ukraine and within one year from the date of its termination or abolition, military, police officers and rescuers may be provided complimentary services in medical institutions of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

    This category includes servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Security Service, the State Border Guard Service, other military formations, police officers as well as State Emergency Service person ranks and officers. They will be able to get services in military medical institutions, healthcare institutions, regardless of the form of ownership and territorial subordination, which are involved in the provision of medical care in martial law.

    The changes were initiated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
