The Government has opened an international checkpoint at the Lviv railway station for railway connection with Poland. The corresponding decision was endorsed at the Government’s session on December 18.
Border and customs controls will be carried out during the movement of train to reduce waiting time and create a more convenient service for passengers.
The checkpoint will be open 24 hours a day. The opening of the checkpoint is the successful result of the pilot project on Kyiv-Lviv-Przemyśl Intercity+ trains during the movement of train between Lviv and Mostyska-2 railway stations and in the reverse direction.
