Government has allotted more than UAH 33 million for equipment for medical institutions in Odesa and Donetsk regions

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated a UAH 33.4 million resource to improve oxygen supply systems and purchase equipment needed for the treatment of patients with coronavirus disease, for medical institutions in Donetsk and Odesa regions.

This decision was made during a regular session of the Government on November 17.

The need for additional equipment for Donetsk and Odesa regions is due to the need to provide medical care to more hospitalized patients with COVID-19 who need oxygen support, and the corresponding increase in the hospital bed availability in healthcare facilities.

The funds were allocated from the program "Measures related to the control of acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and its consequences."
