Government creates incentives to boost demand for Ukrainian products on the domestic market: Prime Minister
The Government has decided to allocate UAH 2.4 billion from the state budget’s reserve fund for payments under the National Cashback programme and UAH 200 million for payments under the programme compensating the cost of Ukrainian industrial equipment. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a Cabinet meeting on 4 June.
The Head of Government emphasised that the National Cashback and compensation programmes fostered sustainable demand for domestically produced goods.
“We are creating incentives to buy Ukrainian. We expect that in 2025, the share of domestic equipment on the internal market will increase by 5%, and production of up to 80 new types of equipment will be launched,” Denys Shmyhal stressed.
He also noted that an important element of the Made in Ukraine policy was the availability of affordable “5-7-9” loans, with entrepreneurs receiving over UAH 313 billion in credit funds since the start of the full-scale war.
“Thanks to preferential loans, businesses are making investments, financing working capital, establishing processing operations, and restoring damaged facilities. This adds momentum to our economy and helps us withstand the challenges of wartime,” the Prime Minister underscored.
