Government lifts restrictions on traveling abroad for a certain category of female officials during martial law

The Government has lifted restrictions on traveling abroad for a certain category of female officials during martial law. Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced.

“From now on, female employees of state authorities, local self-government bodies, state-owned enterprises, and other designated entities will be free to cross the border without additional restrictions,” the Head of Government noted.

The changes do not apply to the highest-ranking state officials, leading officials of state authorities and their deputies, including members of the Cabinet of Ministers, the leadership of ministries and central executive bodies, the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the National Security and Defense Council, the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Bank, as well as members of parliament, judges of the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, prosecutors of the Office of the Prosecutor General, and heads of state-owned enterprises and state bodies whose jurisdiction extends to the entire territory of Ukraine. For them, the rules remain unchanged to ensure the uninterrupted functioning of the state.
