More than 12,000 workers involved in emergency restoration work following russian attacks will receive bonuses of UAH 20,000 each for March. This was announced by Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
“Today, the Government has disbursed UAH 242 million for this purpose. This includes 9,000 energy workers, as well as nearly 2,000 utility and gas workers, and over 1,000 railway workers who are restoring damaged infrastructure and helping communities return to normal operations. The funds will be transferred directly to the workers’ accounts by their employers,” the Head of Government stated, expressing gratitude to the workers for their efforts.
In total, nearly 40,000 specialists received such bonuses during the winter and spring period. These bonuses have become an important tool for supporting people who worked under the most difficult conditions this heating season and ensured the stable operation of critical infrastructure.
