Sergii Koretskyi discussed joint reconstruction projects with Prime Minister of Lithuania Mindaugas Sinkevičius

Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi welcomed Prime Minister of Lithuania Mindaugas Sinkevičius and his government delegation to Ukraine. The visit began in the city of Lutsk. Ukrainian and Lithuanian officials toured the symbolic site of shared European history — Lutsk Castle — and together honored Ukraine’s defenders.

Sergii Koretskyi thanked Lithuania for contributions to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund. The parties discussed further assistance, including direct support from Lithuanian municipalities to Ukrainian communities. This winter such aid will be critically important.

They also addressed global food security undermined by Russia’s attacks on civilian shipping in the Black Sea, business support, prospects for introducing a war‑risk insurance mechanism, as well as projects for the support and rehabilitation of veterans, servicemen, their families, and those affected by the war.

Focus was also placed on reconstruction projects. Lithuania coordinates this work through the CPVA agency — particularly in the education and healthcare sectors.
