Ukrainian hospitals will receive medical equipment free of charge worth UAH 68.8 million
On May 8, the Government supported the initiative of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade on the free transfer of nearly 14 thousand units of medical equipment to Ukrainian hospitals worth UAH 68.8 million.
The corresponding equipment is on the balance of the State Agency of Reserve of Ukraine and is not used for the purpose of 3-5 years, but is quite suitable for work in medical institutions.
"This equipment was purchased for the needs of the State Agency of Reserve, but it is not currently used, though equipment is in good condition. We have weighed up all pros and cons and it turned out that the medical institutions are ready to take this equipment, to modernize it a little and to use it in work. In order to ensure transparent transfer, we place equipment under management of the Ministry of Healthcare for further distribution to the hospitals of Ukraine", Stepan Kubiv, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine/Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine stressed.
