Ukraine opens the last - the 5th stage of vaccination of the population against COVID-19, during which it is planned to immunize all citizens aged 18 and over. Priority will be given to vulnerable groups, including people over 60 and people with concurrent conditions.
“We are getting more and more vaccines against COVID-19 and we are creating more and more points, centers, mobile immunization teams. This makes it possible to open vaccination to all comers and protect as many people as possible from coronavirus disease, in particular from the new Delta strain, which has already reached Ukraine. At the same time, vaccination centers will primarily vaccinate the elderly, people with chronic diseases and other vulnerable groups,” said Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Liashko.
Priority groups also include doctors, educators, social workers and the military, who come into contact with large numbers of people.
It should be noted that vaccination against coronavirus disease in Ukraine is carried out in stages in accordance with the Road Map.
With the opening of the 5th stage, the queue for vaccination through the website or mobile application Diia ceases to operate, because now everyone can sign up directly for vaccination.
It is allowed to sign up for vaccination against COVID-19 at the vaccination points that operate in most primary care facilities by calling the registration desk of the relevant institution. One can also register by phone or online for vaccinations at mass vaccination centers, which are deployed in different cities of Ukraine and are open on weekdays and weekends.
