Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection
According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of July 19, in Ukraine, there have been officially confirmed 598 (23 children out of this number, 13 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.
The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 4,179,663 people have been vaccinated.
Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 2,717,790 people have been vaccinated. On July 18, 2021, 81,015 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 29,162 – CoronaVac vaccine, 41,767 – Comirnaty vaccine, 10,086 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 0.
Vaccination was carried out by 583 mobile immunization teams, 1,394 vaccination stations and 50 vaccination centers.
During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 279 persons, 25 patients died, 540 persons recovered. There have been conducted 42,411 testings (21,459 using the PCR method, 8,387 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 12,565).
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- 2 245 275 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
- 2 181 925 people recovered;
- 52 756 people died;
- 11 182 527 testings have been conducted.
