  • Ukraine and Jordan signed a Memorandum of Cooperation

    On November 4, 2020, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine Oleh Uruskyy met with an official delegation of the Armed Forces of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan headed by Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hnaity, JAF Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

    During the event, the parties discussed the issues of development of bilateral cooperation between the countries in various areas.

    During the discussion, Oleh Uruskyy noted that Ukraine and Jordan have significant potential for intensifying cooperation. In addition, he informed the head of the delegation about plans to reform Ukraine's defense industry.

    For his part, the head of the Jordanian delegation, Major General Youssef Ahmed Al-Hnaity, thanked for the warm welcome, which was organized at a high level. He stressed that he is authorized at all levels of government to implement investment projects. Youssef Ahmed Al-Hnaity also praised the capabilities of the Ukrainian defense companies he attended during his visit to Ukraine, and expressed interest in deepening bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

    Following the meeting between the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, a Memorandum was signed, which opens new opportunities for the development of cooperation between the countries.
