Ukraine received nearly 19,000 tonnes of medical humanitarian aid during martial law
During the period of martial law, Ukraine received 18,713 tonnes of medical humanitarian aid worth over UAH 22.05 billion. The shipments included medicines, medical devices and equipment, transport, generators, and other resources necessary for the healthcare system to function under wartime conditions.
Importantly, the aid is distributed according to current needs and delivered to healthcare institutions and other facilities requiring support. This ensures that medical staff have the necessary resources, hospitals can continue operating, and patients receive medical care.
Specifically, during this period Ukraine received:
- Over 441.3 million units of medicines
- Nearly 290 million units of medical devices, personal protective equipment, and components
- 36,510 units of equipment
- 1,001 units of medical and other transport
- 958 generators
- 139,072 medical instruments
- 3,125 units of medical furniture and inventory
- 4,815 bulletproof vests, helmets, armor plates, and plate carriers
- 9 mobile buildings and hospitals
- 1,056 Starlink terminals
- Over 17.2 million units of other aid.
Medical humanitarian assistance to Ukraine was provided by international and non-governmental organizations, business representatives, and governments of various countries.
The Ministry of Health of Ukraine expresses gratitude to international partners for their systematic support of Ukraine’s healthcare system and for helping supply medical institutions with essential resources.
It should be recalled that in June 2026, Ukraine received additional batches of medical humanitarian aid worth over UAH 34.2 million, including medicines, diagnostic materials, medical devices, and equipment.
